My Adventure Boots From Boscov’s

Even though the holiday season is now behind us, the winter season has truly just begun. We have a long cold winter ahead of us here in New England. This year I promised myself to invest in some truly high quality winter wear to keep warm and comfortable this wintertime. I bought myself an outdoor puffer coat for snowy days and a short puffer jacket for winter play. My best investment so far has been my boots from Boscov’s. I like to be thrifty when I shop for items that I need. I look for high quality and durability that will last me for many seasons as well as style and price. January and February is always the best time to buy boots because they’re all on sale as stores make way for Spring attire (much too early if you ask me). I am not affiliated with Boscov’s, but I was so happy with my new boots that I had to share the secret because I bought a couple new pairs of really warm and cozy high quality boots for very low cost and I couldn’t be happier with them. I searched numerous stores before finally finding Boscov’s at the Milford mall by mistake and I figured I could save you the trouble if you’re also in the market for some winter footwear.

For those of you who don’t know, Boscov’s is a family owned department store located in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, however, they also have an online shop that delivers. I was looking for boots everywhere, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for and when I did I could not afford the high price tag, until I discovered the boot section at Boscov’s. I was looking for a cozy pair of winter boots as well as some ankle boots that I could wear for hiking as well as on snowy days. I wanted something that was made well, not with flimsy fabrics that would crack, crumble, and rip from the outdoor elements. I found these ankle boots for my outdoor treks and adventures for under $50 (which originally cost $110). I wear them when I go hiking, to work on snowy and icy days, and I recently brought them on this trip to Oregon. They worked wonders in the snowy mountaintops, kept my feet warm in this freezing weather, and trekked well over slippery rocks and hills during our outdoor adventures. They also have winter boots on sale as low as $19.99 and the quality is really amazing! When I first walked into the store, they were out of the shoes I wanted in my size so I easily found them online and ordered them. Now, I wear these almost everywhere.

I don’t spend a lot of money on shoes; I feel that my money is better spent elsewhere (my living expenses, my student loans, healthy food, a plane ticket, a new book, or a cute dress), but with Boscov’s I can always find the shoes I am looking for. I find shopping can be a waste of time when you have to run from store to store or website to website trying to find the type of shoe I want to find. I like to spend my time wisely so I can do more of what I love to do instead; such as adventures like this one.

These boots are made for walking, and hiking, and snow, and just about anything. Thank you, Boscov’s.
