Chelsea & Brandon | Chatfield Hollow Inn | Connecticut Wedding Photographer

Chelsea and Brandon’s wedding was held this past September at Chatfield Hollow Inn in Killingworth, Connecticut. Chatfield Hollow Inn must be one of Connecticut’s best kept wedding secrets! Upon arrival, I was in complete awe of the whole place, and I am sure each and every guest felt the same. The venue has a beautiful ceremony location in the woods, a lawn for outdoor activities, a backyard which is the perfect size for an outdoor tent, and a cabin which makes a comfortable getting ready spot and lodge for the bridal party. Brandon and the groomsmen got ready in the outdoor shed, that also doubles as gym for guests staying at the Inn, while the ladies had hair and makeup done in the Inn’s beautiful sunroom. Chelsea and Brandon ended up with the most perfect early autumn day for an outdoor wedding.

While getting ready, Chelsea and Brandon exchanged personal letters and gifts before their first look, which took place before their ceremony in the woods in front of the Inn.

Chelsea put so much care and attention to every detail of their wedding day. From the custom hangers holding the attire of her bridesmaids and bridesman, the table arrangements, children’s activities, homemade corn hole game, branch and floral chandeliers for the tent, s’more station, cigar station for their guests, and the sparkler send off at the very end of the evening. Every detail was planned with love and devotion. I can only hope that I captured each and every detail as magically as she made them appear.

I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Brandon and Chelsea’s wedding day because it gave them many moments to take in the beauty of their day and create some unforgettable memories and photographs. Every couple deserves a wedding day as marvelous as this one. The ceremony was lovely and guests had an incredible time, especially the numerous children enjoying the games and the photo booth. Children make weddings a lot more entertaining, especially on the dance floor! Chelsea and Brandon’s guests had a blast ripping up the dance floor the whole night through.
