Christmas In Connecticut Series | Coming Soon!

Throughout the year I highlight my favorite places to explore in Connecticut with my Connecticut Charm series. This year I introduced a new “Autumn in New England” series and I’m planning on doing the same thing this holiday season with a “Christmas in Connecticut” series, best described as Connecticut Christmas Charm. Even though Connecticut is one of the smallest of the New England states, I truly believe that it is an extremely diverse and charming state from the mountains at the north to the shore in the south. It is no mistake than many a Hallmark Christmas film takes place or is filmed in Connecticut.

My favorite Christmas movie of all time is also happens to be called “Christmas in Connecticut” (1944). I even remade the movie poster, pictured above, for our 2015 holiday card. This season, I want to share with locals, visitors, and long-distance readers alike, why Connecticut (and New England) is absolutely charming at Christmastime. Whether you live here, are planning a visit during the holidays, or simply love to read about new places, I hope that there are posts that are entertaining for everyone.

Because I only have a few short weeks before the holidays are here, I’ll be doing my best to share my favorite tree lightings, holiday festivals, Christmas shopping spots, and activities before Christmas Day arrives. Every year I will pick up where we left off an add more to the collection of inspiration for the holiday season. Coming up soon I will be sharing my trip to the Festival of Trees at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, the Christmas Barn in Wilton, the Nutcracker at the Palace Theater, and a very special “Holiday Getaway.”

Until then, enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday (if you live in the States) and I look forward to creating some very special holiday blog posts just for you.
