Whether you follow my blog or just my wedding photography, you may know that up until now I have kept them together on one website and one Instagram account. However, in 2020 I will be separating the two into two completely different sites and pages. I’m doing this because I believe it will clear up some of the clutter and confusion of my page. For my wedding clients, they want to see my professional photography and it can get tangled in my blog posts and photos. For my blog followers who only want to see my blog material instead of my wedding photos, it will also be a better fit. I am so thankful that so many of my amazing wedding couples have become some of my biggest fans and supporters. -I kept the blog and site together on one page just for you guys. Thank you for your amazing encouragement and support these past couple years!
So why change now? Both my wedding photography business and my blog are growing immensely! I want to give each one the focus and attention it deserves without causing confusion for my couples and my readers. In 2020 I have booked more weddings than I have since I lived in Maryland! I am so thankful that I am finally growing here in Connecticut. I have another destination wedding booked for Tuscany in July, numerous Spring weddings, and I am partnering with my husband @WorldsofDiscovery to offer drone photography and we’re working on some videography highlights (for destination weddings only) as well.
And as for my blog, Live Lovely has now grown immensely from when I first started as a means to share my simple living tips. Live Lovely has grown now to include the New England lifestyle, travel, wellbeing, organic beauty, and now even some fashion and style at my reader’s requests. So I have officially separated my Instagram account into two; @LiveLovelyPhotography for my wedding, elopement, and engagement work and @LiveLovelyTravel for my New England lifestyle and travel blog. I truly hope that you will continue to follow me on both pages as I introduce more in 2020 -better wedding images, destination weddings, and styled shoots on @LiveLovelyPhotography and more New England, wellbeing, travel, and style on @LiveLovelyTravel. My husband @Worldsofdiscovery will also be joining me on almost all of my travel posts and will be featured in many of my New England lifestyle posts this coming year.
What does this mean for this website? I will be keeping this page for my blog since so much of my blog work is already here. However, I will be rebranding and making this page more focused, less cluttered, and more beautiful in 2020. This webpage will also be changing into www.livelovelytravel.com and www.livelovelyphotography.com will be on an entirely new page which will focus as a weddings only portfolio and information site for my clients.
