End Of Summer Dress Sale At Hope & Honey

Summer is my season. I love autumn, and spring, and even winter when it is here, but summer is when I thrive. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate summer than with a sun dress. Warm days, lakefront drives, picnics,  afternoons at the beach, and days full of gardening and outdoor adventures. Is there anything more romantic to wear than a lovely dress on a warm day while enjoying summertime?

It is still summer, but the reality is that it will be ending all too soon. I celebrate the season by wearing my favorite summer dresses while I can. Before I know it most of my dresses will be stored in my closet for winter while some make the cut for layering with cardigans, tights and cozy sweaters. Basket in hand, I make my way to the garden for some fresh wildflowers in the meadow and tomatoes form the vine.

This beautiful green silky sun dress is from the Hope and Honey Boutique in Litchfield, Connecticut. Located right below the At The Corner Restaurant on West Street. Right now Hope & Honey is having an end of summer dress sale. The boutique has a lovely curated collection of summer dresses, scarves, jewelry, gifts, and now books. The boutique recently opened a mini used bookshop in the back of their store. At the moment the shop is having a late summer sale on all summer dresses, including this one!

The green of this dress is simply hypnotizing. The puff sleeves would be Anne of Green Gables approved.

This bracelet and earrings are also from Hope & Honey. Proceeds for these go to women owned businesses and helping women who have served human trafficking. Everything in the boutique supports a good cause.

So I will be out here enjoying my summer garden while it is still here.

And taking every opportunity to wear my favorite dresses before there is a chill in the air.
