My last boudoir client, Meredith, sent me a really lovely e-mail thanking me for her photos. She told me that she absolutely loved her images and had fun at the photo shoot too. “My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for a looong time. I decided I wanted to give him something extra special for Christmas. I came across Lovely Lens Photography and really liked Courtney’s take on Boudoir Photography. It was classy, intimate, raw, and beautiful. That was what I wanted. All her information was there, with great photos, and a great philosophy. I think what most impressed me is that she wanted the photos to be genuine and not take away someone’s true self.
I emailed her and she got back with me right away and we began planning my photoshoot. She asked questions and helped me get an idea of what to wear, bring, and what to expect. All of her preparations made the shoot a lot more comfortable.
I was quite nervous at first. I wasn’t sure how I felt about having basically a stranger photograph pictures of me scantily clad.
Courtney suggested I bring a friend to help me feel more at ease. My sister-in-law came a long and was a big help!
So we met and discussed the details and then set up the room and we started with a simple outfit and simple poses. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and no pressure. I felt like I could be myself without any judgement. She demonstrated the poses and had some examples to help me figure out what to do. We put music on, chatted about life and just had a lot of fun. It wasn’t as scary as I thought. Courtney was so encouraging, and kind, and not over bearing.
After the shoot I felt more confident about myself and my personal image. I felt more desirable which has really helped in my relationship. I was so excited to finally receive the images. I surprised my boy friend with them for Christmas. He couldn’t believe I would do that for him! He was and is still in love with all of the photos. It definitely helped us feel more close and intimate with each other!
Overall the Boudior Photoshoot with Lovely Lens Photography was a life changing experience and I would recommend it!”
