Christina & Matt |Maryland Golf & Country Club Wedding | Bel Air, MD

Christina and Matt were married at St. Margaret Church in Bel Air, Maryland on June 11, 2016. I had the honor of becoming friends with Matt and Christina when I was living in Maryland and it was a wonderful experience to return for their wedding day. Christina got ready for her big day at her beautiful childhood home, which was a picturesque backdrop for photographs of Christina, her bridesmaids, and her family. For the morning I photographed Christina and the girls as they got ready and we met Matt and the groomsmen at the church.

Their reception was held at the Maryland Golf and Country Club, a scenic golf course where Matt plays his usual round of golf. It was supposed to storm, but instead we had a gorgeous and hot summer day. When the newlyweds arrived the power was out, so we ventured outside for some portraits, and sure enough it had been restored by the time we returned. Christina and Matt met the outage with grace and the rest of the reception was filled with laughter and dancing. Every detail was so thought out, which is not surprising because Christina owns a boutique in Bel Air. Colors and stunning patterns are her specialty. Congratulations, Matt and Christina!

Matt and Christina had a dance choreographed for their wedding and they danced it beautifully. Another favorite moment of mine from the day was when Christina threw the bouquet. It became wedged in the chandelier and Matt rescued it using a ladder that the country club had on hand. It made for a great memory. Christina and Matt went out to their after party in style. Christina surprised her husband and friends with this lovely white dress for the after party festivities.
