Jennifer & Jacob | Lighthouse Point Park Engagement | Connecticut Wedding Photographer

Jennifer and Jacob celebrated their engagement with a seaside engagement session at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, Connecticut. Carousel rides were only a dollar. Attempting to kiss on the carousel lead to some funny mishaps including some complete misses and nose kissing as the horses went up and down in intervals. We had a lot of fun taking these portraits!

It was a very special honor to take these engagement photos because Jennifer is my step-sister and the sister of my heart. We grew up together from the age of six and it has been a wonderful journey growing up alongside the amazing woman that Jennifer has become. I am so blessed that after all these years we are still a family. And now I am getting to know the incredible man she has decided to spend the rest of her life with. Congratulations, Jennifer and Jacob. I am so happy for you both and I am looking forward to the day I get to witness you taking your wedding vows!

The beach was severely crowded that Saturday afternoon and a wedding was being set up not too far behind us when these were taken. With perfect timing and a good angle, we were able to avoid the crowds. It looks like Jennifer and Jacob were in their own little world for their photos.
