Lobster Landing | Clinton, CT | Connecticut Charm

Lobster Landing has been on my Connecticut travel list for a long time now, ever since seeing it on the front cover of Yankee Magazine a few summers ago. Clinton Connecticut is one of my favorite casual shoreline towns, but I have never made it to the landing. It is right down the road from Hammonasset State Park where you will find some of my favorite Connecticut beaches. 

I invited my sister and stepmother on my journey to find the best lobster roll in Connecticut. The only kind of lobster roll I truly enjoy are the hot and buttery New England style rolls, which are hard to find outside of New England. (Cold mayo and celery stuffed rolls don’t count!)It is a cute and picturesque little lobster shack on the waterfront in Clinton. And the lobster roll did not disappoint! It was a long roll loaded with fresh lobster and warm butter. And the view was lovely too. Lobster landing is a quintessential New England summer stop. If you’re planning a trip to the shoreline, stop over for lunch before making your way to the beach.
