The Main Street Oyster House is located in historic downtown Bel Air, Maryland. This new restaurant opened about two months ago and already they are a big hit with their freshly shucked oysters, delicious crab cakes, and wide selection of wines. Normally I do wedding photography specifically, however, I always love to reach out and challenge myself with new types of photography. Of course, food photography is also a big part of a wedding reception.
By the end of this blog post you are probably going to be hungry. Grab some lunch or dinner at the Main Street Oyster House. They have two floors available with four bars and in the summer months a great terrace patio is open to dine in the gorgeous summer weather.
At the end of this photo shoot I was able to bring home the dishes I photographed. I have tasted them all and I have to say that everything is amazing! The dish above is one of my personal favorites along with the Maryland crab cakes.
These are called Angels on Horseback. They are oysters wrapped in bacon with a horseradish sauce. A favorite of a lot of guests.
