Mary Catherine & Robert | Allen Hill Tree Farm | Winter Engagement

You may remember this lovely couple from their Disney World engagement on Thanksgiving. Robert and Mary Catherine also love the snow and instead of choosing between the two we decided to photograph both. We waited for a snowy day and ended up with more snow than we imagined. With how warm it has been it is hard to believe that this was only a couple weeks ago. We photographed this engagement session at the Allen Hill Tree Farm in Brooklyn Connecticut. When we arrived the family who runs the farm was enjoying the gorgeous day on snowmobiles, tractors, and even snowshoes. We wanted a location with a gorgeous backdrop of snow and trees and we found it at this beautiful farm. We were asked, “Don’t you know you’re late for the season?” The baby Christmas trees made a perfect winter picnic spot. Mary Catherine and Robert sat amongst the little pine trees with a blanket and some hot chocolate.
