What is the best way to celebrate an engagement? Disney, of course! Robert and MaryCatherine invited me on an adventure of a lifetime to Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. We battled the bright Florida sun and crowds of thousands who took off to Disney for their Thanksgiving holiday and came out with these fun and creative photos. Ride lines reached high wait times of up to 187 minutes apiece, but that did little to stop our fun. The holiday decorations are already up around the kingdom and Disney characters are singing holiday songs. I may have fan-girled out a bit when I saw Mary Poppins and Cinderella’s castle (honestly, I could not stop looking at it!) Our first stop was the castle, then a tour around the park taking photos as we explored. We ended the day at Disney Springs. Thank you, MaryCatherine and Robert for taking me along. When we joked around about an engagement at Disney I had no idea that a couple weeks later it would truly happen and that I would make two new friends along the way. Congratulations MaryCatherine and Robert! We ventured to Be Our Guest for an incredible lunch in Beast’s castle! The castle looks extradorinarily identical to the animated film! Complete with the magic rose:A tale as old as time:We took a ferry boat detour. Disney has special significance for Robert and MaryCatherine: this is where they had their first date! The ride pictured below is where they shared their first kiss. Most epic first date ever, I can imagine!A day in Disney is not complete without the teacups! After dinner at the Rainforest Cafe (a truly fantastic experience complete with a fiery volcano) we explored Disney Springs. I just love a couple who loves to dance!!! Especially in public like no one is watching.Â
