November is my “month of cozy.” It is my month to slow down, practice gratitude, give back to my community, and practice self-care. It is also my “Thankfulness November.” You might already feel the chill of the upcoming winter in the air, experienced the first snow of the season, or felt a shift in attitude. The holidays are a busy time of year, but November is certainly the quiet before the storm.
How do you ease into late autumn and the beginning of the holiday rush? This month I challenge you to celebrate a month of cozy. It is as simple as doing one thing every day that brings you comfort and contentment. Here are thirty ideas to inspire your cozy November.
One. Bundle up and go outside for an early morning autumn walk.
Two. Take a warm bath with essential oils or bath salts.
Three. Start your day at home with hot tea or coffee instead of getting it to go.
Four. Sketch in a journal.
Five. Snuggle up with a cozy blanket and watch your favorite film.
Six. Make art with fallen leaves.
Seven. Write a note or a letter to a good friend and mail it.
Eight. Bake your favorite dessert after dinner.
