Post Wedding Photo Shoot | Vieques Puerto Rico Glam-The-Gown

IMG-7186I am so happy to bring to you my first ever Glam-the-Gown photo shoot. Several years ago I saw the popular trash-the-dress posts by other photographers and loved the idea of taking post-wedding photographs, but really disliked the idea of potentially ruining a gorgeous wedding gown. (I just can’t do it!) So a few years ago I told myself that one day I would do post-wedding portraits as on-location shoots that kept the dress intact or old Hollywood styled studio portraits (that one is still on my to-do list). Anna and Andy made that vision come true.

The morning after the wedding, we explored Vieques for a Puerto Rican photo shoot. Here are several of my absolute favorites starring the amazing 300 year old Seba tree (and all the pretty wild horses), the old open-air chapel, and the ruins of the sugar mills in the jungle. We almost couldn’t find the sugar mills in time, but we made it! Minutes after we took the last shot Anna and Andy raced Matthew and I to the airport in time for our flight back to the main island. What an adventure!
