I am looking forward to my wedding rehearsal a month from now. The anticipation of practicing the ceremony sounds exciting and best of all it will help me feel prepared for the real deal on the big day. I knew that I wanted to dress up for the special occasion, but that I also wanted to be comfortable. The rehearsal is not a formal event and we are doing a casual lunch instead of a rehearsal dinner.
I also knew that I want to wear white. In the past, white clothing and I have not gotten along very well. My mother used to tell me that white was not my color. She later explained that she told me that because I always got white dirty and she didn’t want to clean any of my clothing stains. Fair enough. Now that I am all gown up and getting married (that still feels crazy to say!) white felt like the perfect sophisticated and bridal choice.
I found this white mini dress on Chicwish.com several months back and knew that it was the one. After a long time shipping and passing through customs, I am thrilled that the dress is here and it fits well. .jpg)

I enjoy the floral lace on this dress and the hourglass design. .jpg)

Photographing this dress with all the lovely spring flowers felt like the perfect fit. .jpg)
I adore the long lace sleeves. It reminds me of some wedding gowns, but more casual for a lovely spring or summer day. .jpg)

To me, this dress feels vintage yet contemporary. In so many ways, it also feels bridal. It would be the perfect mini dress for a wedding shower or a casual elopement. .jpg)

I paired this dress with my favorite market basket from Etsy and a pair of simple blush heels. .jpg)
