At a family picnic at the end of last spring a cousin of mine brought a simple chip dip. It was addictive and I kept going back for more. “What is in this?” I had to ask. “Sour cream, lime juice, and cilantro.” It really is that simple.
I made some at home the next weekend. For this recipe I juiced two small limes and added the juice to a bowl of Daisy sour cream. Then I finely chopped a handful of fresh cilantro and mixed it into the dip. And voila, a deliciously refreshing and light chip dip for any party or even for a snack for an afternoon at home. You can add more cilantro or lime juice based on your preference and even a pinch of salt.
I hope you enjoy this easy and refreshing recipe!
