You can tell that I’ve been reading too many period romances and watching Bridgerton because I reread my title for this post with a British accent in my head after my eyes hit the word “season.” It’s not that kind of season around here, but I am so happy to welcome in the season of spring. I happily started my spring cleaning series in 2019 and since then it is becoming a springtime tradition on Live Lovely. I started the 2020 season just as the pandemic hit us and I lost motivation to keep up the momentum as events unfolded. This year, I’m looking forward to the fresh start, especially because there is a horizon for the pandemic in sight and Matthew and I also just moved to a new home! Because of the housing market we decided to keep renting, but we moved to a larger space and we are now renting a house with window light and a yard as opposed to our tiny dark studio. We loved the studio while we were there but it was time for a change and we couldn’t be happier. I want to bring that energy with me to the Spring Cleaning Series this year.
In the past I have focused on mostly minimizing, but this year I want to focus on more eco friendly cleaning methods as well as organizational and design ideas for rental and historic homes. There will be a lot of spring cleaning this year! Here is a quick preview of some of the posts you will find:
