I love the colors of fall, but most of all I adore the slowness. After a busy summer, autumn welcomes slowness back into our lives. Life begins to slow down. As Thanksgiving approaches I find my gratitude increases and my appreciation for the little things grows like an oak from a tiny acorn. We notice the trees on our commutes to work, we take more walks, go on more outdoor adventures, and appreciate the little things. And I found the cutest little thing that represents the best of fall; this adorable gold acorn necklace.

The acorn represents strength and resilience. This little acorn charm necklace is the perfect reminder of resilience and strength. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry besides my wedding and engagement rings, but lately I have been drawn to simple and minimalist gold necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. A simple elegance for a simple season.
I found this gorgeous autumnal necklace on Etsy and knew that it was perfect for my modest little jewelry collection. It will become a heirloom piece that I will be wearing for years to come. When I shop, I do so intentionally, with the goal to only collect pieces that I will appreciate and treasure. In this culture of trends and fast fashion, slow and stylish pieces are carefully selected for longevity, like this simple acorn necklace.
This beautiful little necklace is made by a little shop named Keoni Design.

May the little acorn charm remind you of the little joys and simple pleasures of autumn, long after the leaves pass peak and fall to the ground.
And as Thanksgiving approaches, I hope this little acorn charm reminds you to appreciate the little things.
