What inspires you?
My mom and sister never wore makeup. When I discovered the world of makeup on YouTube at the age of 15, I was instantly hooked. I started practicing on myself, followed by family and friends, and eventually went on to receive two makeup certificates from cosmetology school and have been freelancing ever since!
Love most: My favorite part of the job is seeing my clients react to their finished makeup look. Whatever the occasion, the big smile, gasp, and sometimes even happy tears gets me every time!
Do you work solo or with a team?
I work alone but am happy to outsource to other artists when I need help with a big bridal party or am booked on a specific date.
What are your goals for the year?
Continue booking more weddings since I’m specializing in bridal more than ever (succeeding so far!) and looking into becoming trained in applying lash extensions.

What is your favorite memory while on the job?
I’ll never forget a bridal party I had to prepare August 2016. It was the hottest day of the summer with high humidity. Despite these facts, not only was she my favorite bride of the season (personality AND looks to match!) but she emailed me the next day raving about how amazing her makeup stayed throughout the entire day and night. That solidified that I’m in the right profession for me.
Any wisdom to share with your wedding clients?
My best piece of wisdom for my clients is to be religious about skincare! So many people tell me that they don’t need skincare because they already have great skin. And that’s AWESOME! However, just like a fast metabolism will eventually catch up to you, so will skincare. If you’re lacking it, it’ll eventually show. Even if it’s just going from nothing to washing and moisturizing twice a day, everyday, you’ve made a HUGE improvement.

What other hobbies do you have outside of make up?
I enjoy practicing new makeup skills on myself, date nights with my long time boyfriend, reading, and watching YouTube or Netflix.
Anything else you would like to share with couples looking for a makeup artist?
Nothing makes me happier than making people feel good about themselves inside and out. I will go above and beyond to make sure you’re completely satisfied and provide much more than “just makeup” – it’s truly an experience.
